“A danceable experience with a touch of summer”, is how Duguneh described his style during a vacation. Half an hour later he was asked to play the turntables at a beach party where even Shaggy danced under the full moon. A memory that you’ll, years later, still recognise in Duguneh’s music combination of African, latin, urban and dance music.
Duguneh has a busy schedule counting more than 100 shows a year. With shows ranging from The Netherlands to the sunny coasts of Spain, and his striking summery music style, he is undoubtedly one of the rapidly rising artists from The Netherlands to keep an eye on.
The track “Sufre“, for which Duguneh collaborated with Emy Perez (former pre-program of Shakira), went viral in the summer of 2018. The track was released on PM Recordings (e.g. Daddy Yankee, Flo Rida, Lil’ Wayne and Mohombi) and ranked in the Top 10 of Spotify’s Dutch Virals. Even after the successful summer of 2018, ‘Sufre’ is still widely streamed, played by DJ’s and used for tv-shows such as The Voice of Holland (1.8m viewers).
