Kunstbende is an organisation of young people to develop their talents. They try to connect with the world of thousands of youngsters by organising projects such as the contest Kunstbende, Move Your Art and The Best of Kunstbende Tour. The heart of the organisation – the national contest – will be organised in 2013 for the 23rd time. Kunstbende has created famous artists, like Trijntje Oosterhuis, Meysam Noori, Claudia de Breij, Krezip, Abdelkader Benali and Room Eleven. Young people from 13 till 18 years old can participate in the categories Music, DJ, Fashion, Theater & Performance, Film & Animation, Dance, Languages and Expo. For the first time this year, Deckstar will give support to the category DJ in the province Groningen and Drenthe and participate in the jury.
